Gavin attended Newcastle College of Music and studied guitar under James Birkett, contributing songs and music to in house and local theatre productions. He developed his harmonic and melodic ideas while studying at G.I.T, London and went on to form a writing band “Why Bother” dipping into Kent’s pool of rich, talented musicians performing as a solo artist around Kent and London.
