Shepherds Well railway station, located in the village of Shepherdswell, Kent, is a key stop on the Dover branch of the Chatham Main Line. Managed by Southeastern, the station features two platforms and provides services primarily operated using Class 375 electric multiple units. The typical off-peak schedule includes one train per hour (tph) to London Victoria via Chatham and one tph to Dover Priory, with additional services during peak hours to London Bridge and London Cannon Street.

The station, which opened on 22 July 1861, was originally built by the London, Chatham & Dover Railway. It is situated between Snowdown and Kearsney stations, approximately 115.5 km from London Victoria. Despite the station signage reading “Shepherdswell,” it is officially listed and appears in timetables as “Shepherds Well.”

Adjacent to Shepherds Well railway station is the terminus of the East Kent heritage line, known as Shepherdswell. For ticketing, the station provides a booking office with limited opening hours on weekday mornings and a Permit To Travel ticket machine available at other times.
