Hendy Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon

One of the best races in Kent! Get your racing shoes on and your game faces ready! It’s time to join The Tunbridge Wells Harriers in February 2025 for the hotly anticipated Hendy Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon!

Race details:
This famous race is much loved for its scenic and challenging route… we must be certain to give a mention to the 300ft ascent of Spring Hill in Fordcombe! The Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon is steeped in local history and thanks to meticulous organisation, value for money and friendly marshals, entries are highly coveted. It was voted the No.2 Half Marathon in the UK by Runners World readers in 2011 and has gone from strength to strength ever since, delighting runners year on year. It is one of the biggest events in the UK organised by a running club and Tunbridge Wells Harriers are very proud to have hosted the event for over 40 years.

Course Details:
The race is a testing, picturesque course through the Kent countryside. It is a one-lap course, featuring a few notable hills, including Spring Hill on the approach to Fordcombe. As this is a hilly course, we regret that it is not suitable for wheelchair athletes. Dogs or buggies will not be permitted, and athletes must not be accompanied or followed by others on cycles.
Please note: this event has a strict 3 hour cut off time due to the regulations around road closure.

Race accessibility & inclusivity
You spoke! We listened!
At the Tunbridge Wells Harriers, we feel that it’s vitally important that this race is as inclusive as possible.
As a result of your very helpful and positive feedback from the 2024 event, we will therefore be implementing a number of additional measures for our 2025 race, including:
– Placing additional toilets around the course for your convenience
– Designating an area at Race HQ as a quiet zone for those who might benefit from such a facility
We look forward to introducing these changes and hope that it will provide an enhanced race-day experience for many of our runners.

If you know somebody who many benefit from these improvements, please bring the race to their attention.

This race does not allow refunds or deferrals however, you can transfer your ticker to another athlete up to and including race day.
