I’m new to this site but my family lived at Toke Farm from about 1850 till 1875 and then moved over the road to Roughters Farm. I’ve been told that they were ruined by 3 bad harvests of hops in a row in the 1870’s and were forced to sell. I believe those farms are still there and I’d love to hear from anyone who has info about them.
Kind regards, Dave Mawle
