Ninfield Bonfire

7pm Procession lines up in Church Lane.

7:30pm Procession leaves and returns to the Recreation Ground.

Chant and lighting of the Bonfire.

The Grand Firework Display!

Event Timings
Please note: These are approximate timings

Torchlit Procession:

7pm Road closure starts 7pm – All Societies to muster (meet) in Church Lane, adjacent to the Recreation
ground by the Stocks. All Societies will collect their torches from the triangle at the front end of Church Lane.

7.30pm – Maroon will go off to start procession, leaving Church Lane leading left up The Green, onto Manchester road, following the road past the Blacksmiths Inn then round onto Coombe Lane, leaving Coombe Lane turning left onto Standard Hill, processing onto the High Street and back to The Green, turning right onto Church lane.

8pm – 8.15pm – Procession returns back onto the Recreation ground

8.15pm – Lighting of the Bonfire

AIl the Society members will gather around the Bonfire and deliver the traditional bonfire Chant before the fire is lit. Bonfire members will throw their torches on to the Bonfire.

8.30pm – Fireworks Display and Effigy

9pm – Spectators and visiting Bonfire Societies make their way off the recreation ground

Please donate as much as you can into the buckets into the ton sacks towards local charities and Fireworks for 2025!
