P.A URI – MARQUIS OF MARKWICK ART EXHIBITION AT WAVEARTS
ENTER THE FLAMBOYANT WORLD OF MASKED P.A URI & HIS ART OF THE LOCAL AREA and MEET the artist MAY 1st 12-2pm
‘My name is Uri Larsonrude and I live and work as a personal assistant for a socialite client on Markwick Terrace, high up on a hill in ‘Saint Lennies’.
Over the past few years I have been documenting my adventures in the local area on company time via local social media groups and through creative pursuits. My superior whom I am employed for as a personal assistant allows me free rein to create works of my experiences in the local area in a gritty fabulous fashion. Shades of gold, pink & purple are expressive of my exquisite aura and are utilised in my surrealist works of Saint Lennies and the local areas like Hollington, which are sometimes rarely documented.
I would like to sincerely invite you all to see the works of P.A Uri at W.Ave Arts, The Compound, from WEDNESDAY 1ST MAY 2024 for one month only.
‘We are proud to announce that 10% of the proceeds from our ‘Artist of the Month’ showcases will be used to fund ‘pay what you can afford’ workshops for children at The Compound, our cherished non-profit community center at 161 Bexhill Road. This initiative not only celebrates the unique talents of our featured artists but also fosters a collaborative environment where the entire community can thrive together. Join us on May 1st for an exclusive opportunity to meet P.A Uri, an artist who has recently stirred considerable excitement.
We were delighted to welcome P.A Uri and his entourage, complete with his striking minx jacket. A captivating figure, P.A Uri places the welfare of the community at the heart of his art, injecting a fresh cultural vibe with a humorous twist. Whether sparking debate or fostering conversation, it’s inspiring to see the community engage in so many enriching ways—a vital connection we all need in life!’
Kind regards
P.A Uri (Marquis of Markwick)
