St. Michael and All Angels Church is a notable nineteenth-century church located in the Weald of Kent. Built in the 1860s by architect G M Hills and constructed by Bournes of Woodchurch, the church was consecrated on 1st August 1863. The building is crafted from ragstone with Bath stone dressings and features a distinctive spire added after the original construction. The church’s interior includes high north-side windows, a colourful organ, and an iron font cover. It also houses an array of stained glass, including works by Henry Hughes and the duo Ward and Hughes, with notable images by Albert Moore and Lavers and Westlake in the chancel south windows.

St. Michael and All Angels serves the community with regular worship services, including a Holy Communion every Wednesday at 10am and Sunday services at 11am. The church also hosts a unique worship event titled “Pause, Ponder, Praise” on the second Sunday of each month. The church is open daily from 9am to 5pm, welcoming all who wish to visit or participate in its services. Additionally, it supports various life events such as baptisms, weddings, and funerals. The church is actively engaged in local community support and has committed to achieving zero emissions by 2030 as part of its registration as an Eco-Church.
