The Mudworks Ceramics Studio

The Mudworks Ceramics Studio was the foremost community pottery to open in St Leonards after over a decade where there were none. The pottery, based in London Road on a corner plot, has triple aspect windows that flood light into 1300 square feet of studio space. With high ceilings, 6 pottery wheels, three large workbenches, a separate glaze room and 3 kilns, the pottery provides the St Leonards community with regular adult classes, taster sessions, throwing weekends, after school clay clubs and specialist workshops. We also offer membership for proficient ceramicists to use the studio. With plenty of free parking and local facilities in the area, it’s ideally positioned for those wishing to get muddy!
