In 2010 I realised a long-held wish to return to Peasmarsh (hadn’t been there since very early childhood). My grandfather, Clarence Bryant, lived in the village – in his later years at The Maltings. My father, Vic Bryant, grew up (well I don’t know that he ever really grew up (smile) there and used to regale us with stories of his mischievous childhood. I am so glad I was able to get back to Peasmarsh. Had lunch at the Horse & Cart and thoroughly appreciated the friendliness of the locals. I hope to get back again sometime. Thank you.
