WEP was my great grandfather who lived in Alfriston for some time up to 1940, he then went to Miami to stay with her daughter. WEP was well known in Alfriston and lived at the Manor House in the Market Square he was an artist and won gold at the London 1908 Olympic games and I understand he wared plus fours. In 1983 I believe that they were planning a museum about local poeople. Did this happen, I would like to help if possible. Vic Styles from Southampton
