I’m tring to track down the Veness family of Ashburnham.
My ancestor Ada Matilda Ralph married Albert Veness c. 1860/1870
I know they had a son or grandson Clifford who was a blacksmith in the 1950/60s and he had a sister Clarice.

Hi everyone, great-grandmother was Elizabeth Veness. She was the daughter of John Bacon Veness. His mother was Elizabeth Veness (he was illegitimate), who was the daughter of Samuel (1794). Does anyone have any links to this line? Thanks. Alisan
I have found a Venice in my family tree, Katherine Venice born 1712 Brightling, she married Thomas Geer / Geere. Their daughter Mary married my gggg / grandfather John Plumley on 8/11/1779. Wynne Maguire
Alisan – We have corresponded previously. Is there anyone in your line of descent with atDNA data to share? I am building a genetic trail in support of the paper evidence.
Sorry, Mark. I am not in close contact with that side of the family. They are in UK. As far as I know, no one has done the DNA test.
