Hello, I saw a post on here from September 2023 from someone looking to hire a rowing boat for a short film.
I am also looking to hire a rowing boat this Sunday, for a music video. Any leads are greatly appreciated.

Hi Emma.
I can’t help with the loan of a rowing boat unfortunately, but I am aware of the shoot last year that you refer to.
I just wanted to check that you are aware you need a permit from the local authority via the 1066 film office, for shoots at Camber Sands. At this time of year it’s almost certain that shoots won’t be allowed on the weekend as the beach becomes especially busy.
Please contact the 1066 film office in the first instance to discuss using the contact details here:

Please don’t turn up without written prior permission. The beach is staffed/ managed 7 days a week and without a permit you will be turned away.
Good luck with your enquiry and your project.
Hello Richard,
Thank you for your message and for the advice. Our team are in close communication with the coast guard and local council to ensure all necessary permits and permissions are in order.
All the best,
Emma
