Hi Pat – My great aunt Alice Lemmon married a Carey who was killed in WWI. She lived on in Ninfield with her sister Kathleen until their death in the early 1950s.

Hi Pat and Daphne I am researching the Carey’s from Hooe. I am descended from Stephen Raymond Carey 1826-1864 and Sarah Vidler (Vitler). One of his sons, David Thomas Carey married a Mary Walters and moved to Tunbridge Wells. After 7 children Mary died and David Thomas married a Henrietta Beake and had a further nine children. I would love to have further information on the Carey that lived at Ninfield and was killed in WWII and will happily exchange any information that I have.

Hi, Lisa
Would be interested in any information you have on the descendants of Stephen CAREY and Sarah VITLER.
Sarah’s GG Grandfather is my wife’s GGGGG Grandfather. She is a Gander from Hooe, and might be able to help with any other queries you have
