My 7th Great Grandmom was Ann Selmes. I live in the US. The Lancasters migrated to Virginia Do you know of her? I am black and knew about my white ancestors from Sussex.
Please look at the reply to Caroline Selmes posted by Martha Franklin. I am a decendant and Ann Selmes was my 6th Great Grandmother. I am a decendat of the Lancasters by blood and her husband Thomas was my 6th Great Grandfather. I accidently told Caroline he was the 8th but it was actually the 6th. I have traced back to the 15th Century.
