We are an independent lifeboat service based in Pett Level and serving the coastline between Hastings and Camber. We train twice a week and operate 24/7 and 365 days a year.
Everyone is a volunteer. We are entirely self-managed and self-funded – we receive no central funding and rely on donations and grants.
We work in close co-operation with HM Coastguard, local emergency services, RNLI and Coastguard helicopter.
