Playden in East Sussex Village Guide

Coleman’s

Hello.
It is my understanding that there is history of the Coleman side of my family in the Playden church. Is there anyone out there that may be able to help me with this. I live in Southampton so not able to just pop by to check out this lead for myself just now. Any help will be gratefully received.
Thank you,
TJ

St Michael’s Church Playden records are stored at Lewes. We do have a copy of some old records – these are available on-line for free though at https://www.familysearch.org/ – just enter surname Coleman and residence Playden and you’ll find them. Regards, Peter, Churchwarden
