About Rodmell, East Sussex
Rodmell is a picturesque village located in the east of the South Downs National Park in East Sussex. It is famous for being the former home of the writer Virginia Woolf, who lived in the village with her husband Leonard Woolf. The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside, with the River Ouse flowing nearby. Its history dates back to the Saxon era, and there are still many charming historic buildings in the village. The village is a popular destination for walkers and cyclists, with many scenic routes to explore. Nearby attractions include the stunning gardens of Charleston Farmhouse and the historic town of Lewes.
