The Halt epotomizes all that a country pub should be.Nestling in an idyllic situation only half a mile out of Robertsbridge. The Halt is a free house and boasts a traditional cellar,highly prized when maintaining real ales.
Our menu choices are all freshly prepared on the premises,using as many locally sourced as possible. Many dishes are seasonal and therefore dependant on the fruits of the foraging season.
The outside terrace offers magnificent views over the Rother valley.
Throughout the summer months we light our wood fired oven in the garden,preparing pizzas and baking them to order on the lower terrace kitchen.
