I recently found a photo I took of the winners of the Flower Princess contest at the Sedlescombe Fair way back in the summer of 1981. I remember there was also a hot air balloon show and the fair was opened by a TV personality. I had just finished my A-levels at the then Hastings College of Further Education and decided to visit the fair. I can’t attach the photo to this message board, but I would love to share the photo with the three winners. They must be in their 40s now, and I hope they are in good health. Is there a way I can send the photo to the local newspaper or something? or perhaps the ‘princesses’ are reading this message 🙂
