Church in the Wood

Church in the Wood, formally known as St Leonard, Hollington, is a picturesque church nestled in wooded grounds at the end of Church Wood Lane. This small, friendly church is part of the open evangelical tradition within the Church of England and holds services every Sunday at 10:30 am. The church building, largely Victorian, stands on a site with a rich history of Christian worship dating back to the 11th century, including a stone-built church from the 13th century. Today, it continues to serve the community of St Leonard’s on Sea, aiming to foster a living, life-changing faith in Jesus Christ.
