Bulverhythe Beach is actually part of the Combe Valley Countryside Park! Characterised by its vegetated shingle composition and backed by low sandstone cliffs on its western edge. Its ecological and geomorphological significance has even lead to its recognition as an SNCI (Site of Nature Conservation Interest).

Noteworthy attractions include the Amsterdam shipwreck, a site legally safeguarded under the Protection of Wrecks Act, 1973. Moreover, vestiges of a submerged prehistoric forest are visible during low tide, offering glimpses of an ancient landscape.
