I too am a Noakes descendent who lives in Canberra Australia. My line is Richard (m. Mary Susans); Thomas (m. Sarah Darby); Thomas (m. Mary Tamsett); Dinah Noakes (m. Thomas Jones); Thomas Jones (m. Lydia Godfrey) – Lydia was my GGgrandmother. I am trying to purchase (or obtain a copy) of the book you have mentioned “From Udimore They Came”. I am also fascinated and interested in the family history. I would desperately love to obtain a copy of this book and was wondering if you, or anyone else is able to assist.
