    Hi Kay,
I’m also researching the Butlers but am later on in time. I’m looking at Florence Annie Butler born 1885/6 and her father who I think is John Butler born 1840 in Benenden. Florence is my great grandmother. Are they part of the same family do you know? Any information you have would be fantastic and greatly appreciated. Thank you,
    Mel.

Hi My only information on the butler family is: Alexander BUTLER b1739 in Kent marr 13 Mar 1785 in Appledore to ANN Featherstone bc 1740. They had a daughter Sarah who married in Benenden on 8 Dec 1785 to Mercer BEACH (1763-1837). Being in Australia i haven’t dome much researching re this period in UK records to date.

What’s new?
