Sparrowhatch Lodge

I have recently found some letters from a relative of mine. His name was Mark Pettit and the letters are from the above address. he left England at the age of seventeen in the mid 1800’s no one heard from him until he re-appeared at my grandmothers house 1949/50 after which we never heard from him again. I wonder if anyone remembers this house or this old gentleman. I would be very interested to hear. Elizabeth Barrett
