Charing Railway Station, located in Kent, England, is a functional transport hub managed by Southeastern. The station, which opened on 1 July 1884, is part of the historical London, Chatham and Dover Railway extension. It features two platforms and offers a range of services primarily operated using Class 375 and 377 EMUs. The typical off-peak service includes one train per hour (tph) to London Victoria via Maidstone East and one tph to Ashford International, with additional services during peak hours.

The station is equipped with a ticket office open part-time and a PERTIS machine for ticket purchases when the office is closed. Charing Railway Station underwent significant changes as part of the “Kent Coast Electrification” scheme, which included the electrification of the line in 1961 and the closure of its signal box in 1984 following modernisation efforts. Despite the cessation of freight operations in 1964, the station continues to serve as a key point for local and commuter travel.
