Larkins’ Alehouse is Cranbrook’s first micropub, proudly independent and family-run. This venue specialises in a selection of mainly local ales, ciders, wines, and spirits, with ales served directly from the cask to maintain and enhance their flavours. The pub also offers a variety of Kent ciders, local wines, and spirits such as vodka and gin, alongside soft drinks.
For those looking for a bite to eat, Larkins’ Alehouse provides pub snacks including pickled onions and eggs, as well as cheese or ham rolls, pork pies, and sausage rolls accompanied by homemade chutney, available from Thursday to Saturday. A cold buffet and hot food can also be arranged upon request.
The alehouse is free from TV, music, and mobile phones, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where guests can enjoy a quiet drink. Additionally, there is a beer garden equipped with a marquee and heaters for outdoor relaxation.
Larkins’ Alehouse has been recognised for its quality, winning titles such as the Maidstone & Mid Kent CAMRA Branch Pub of the Year and Cider Pub of the Year.
