Dumpton Park Railway Station is a functional rail facility on the Chatham Main Line, strategically positioned between the towns of Broadstairs and Ramsgate in Kent. Managed by Southeastern, the station provides essential connectivity with its two platforms facilitating travel to and from London Victoria, among other destinations. The station itself is modest, featuring a few parking spaces and a small shelter on an island platform accessible via a bridge from the south side of the line. Originally opened on 19 July 1926, Dumpton Park has a historical significance, having replaced earlier stations as part of a network optimisation during the 1920s. Although the station once boasted more extensive facilities, including a booking hall and covered bridge, these have since been removed, leaving the station with minimal structures today. All train services at Dumpton Park are operated using Class 375 electric multiple units, ensuring efficient and reliable transport for passengers travelling along this route.
