Broad Oak is a small village situated near the town of Heathfield in East Sussex. Often called Broad Oak Heathfield to distinguish it from another village of the same name near Brede, it lies within the civil parish of Heathfield and Waldron. The village occupies a modest area along the A265, the main road connecting it directly to Heathfield’s High Street.
Broad Oak’s setting offers a glimpse of rural life in East Sussex, with its close proximity to Heathfield providing access to wider amenities while retaining a distinct village character.
