Eridge Railway Station, located in East Sussex, is a functional station on the Uckfield branch of the Oxted line, managed by Southern. The station, which opened on 3 August 1868, originally served as a junction for multiple lines but now facilitates regular services to London Bridge and Uckfield, with increased frequencies during peak hours. Additionally, it connects with heritage services operated by the Spa Valley Railway to Groombridge, High Rocks, and Tunbridge Wells West on selected days.
The station features three platforms and offers step-free access, enhancing accessibility for all passengers. This improvement was completed in February 2022. Eridge Railway Station also includes a small car park for commuters and visitors. Adjacent to the station is the Huntsman Pub, providing a convenient spot for refreshments. The station’s historical significance and its role in local rail services make it a key point in the area’s transport network.
