Ewhurst Green in East Sussex Village Guide

Family History

My 4x Great Grandfather George Chapman was born in Ewhurst in 1737 his wife was Sarah (surname unknown) and they had 7 sons and a daughter. I would be pleased to hear if anyone has heard of the Chapman family in Ewhurst.
Thank you.

Hello Patricia Joel, Do they think they may have been buried inthe cemetary at St James The Great, in Ewhurst Green? If so, I could look for a headstone, but the ones that old, are very faded and hard to read now. I don’t know any Chapman’s in the area, but will ask around.
