Taking place every 3rd Friday of the month throughout the summer, we’ve been blown away by the support, interest and musicianship on display at this new Open Mic Night hosted by local singer-songwriter Benita Johnson.
Our final event of the summer takes place on Fri 21st August. As well as the usual open mic to start off, the night will be crowned by 3 showcase slots so that performers can play a full half hour uninterrupted (and get a free drink). Acts for this will be chosen via draw at the start of the evening – so don’t be late!
Performers of all styles and standards are welcome, although due to space restrictions we cannot accommodate keys. If you have any queries please feel free to email the organiser. Food is served from 5-8pm and the venue has a well-stocked bar as well as the usual teas / coffees available. Check the website link for more details. Music starts 7pm prompt, so performers are advised to arrive a little earlier to sign up.
