Based at Great Dixter in the education centre at Dixter Farm and in the garden and woodland. Garden explorers runs each Thursday and Friday morning between 9:30 and 11:30.
Sessions vary from week to week. Some take place in Dixter’s private woodland following Forest School principles, with fires, shelter building and sensory activities. Others are based in the garden and at Dixter Farm including arts and crafts, vegetable growing and eating, minibeast hunts and cooking. There are stories, songs and lots of active adventure.
Garden explorers is suitable for preschoolers
Includes a drink (and a proper coffee or tea) and a snack which we cook together.
Each session costs £7.50 per child. Accompanying adults are free. Siblings are half price.
