Aylesham Railway Station, located in the village of Aylesham in Kent, is a key stop on the Dover branch of the Chatham Main Line. Managed by Southeastern, the station features two platforms and provides services primarily using Class 375 electric multiple units. The typical off-peak service includes one train per hour (tph) to London Victoria via Chatham and one tph to Dover Priory, with additional services to London Bridge and London Cannon Street during peak hours.

The station was originally opened on 1 July 1928 by the Southern Railway to support the growing passenger traffic from the development of the Kent coalfield. It later transitioned to the Southern Region of British Railways upon nationalisation in 1948 and continued under Network SouthEast until the privatisation of British Rail.

Facilities at Aylesham Railway Station include a staffed booking office open on weekday mornings and a self-service ticket machine located on the London-bound platform. The main station buildings are also situated on the London-bound side, providing accessibility and convenience for commuters and travellers.
