Dunton Green railway station is a key transport facility located in the village of Dunton Green, Kent. Managed by Southeastern, the station sits on the South Eastern Main Line, approximately 33.1 km from London Charing Cross, nestled between Knockholt and Sevenoaks stations. This station, which opened on 2 March 1868, historically served as the junction for the Westerham Valley Branch Line until 1961.
Today, Dunton Green is unstaffed and has had its ticket office closed since the early 1990s. Passengers must purchase tickets from a self-service machine, which is complemented by passenger help points and information screens available on both platforms. The station offers a small car park, managed by Saba Parking, and a cycle rack at the entrance. Accessibility is partial, with step-free access to the London-bound platform only.
The station provides a regular service with two trains per hour (tph) to London Charing Cross and two tph to Sevenoaks during off-peak times. These services are primarily operated using Class 376, 465, 466, and 707 EMUs. For broader connectivity, changes at Orpington or Sevenoaks allow access to faster services to various destinations including London, Tunbridge Wells, and Hastings.
