Hever Railway Station, located in Kent, is a historical station that has been serving passengers since its opening on 1 October 1888 by the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway. Now managed by Southern, it lies on the Uckfield branch of the Oxted line, approximately 44 kilometres from London Bridge. The station, which became unstaffed following a resignalling in January 1990, offers facilities such as a self-service ticket machine, passenger help points, covered seating on both platforms, and a small cycle rack on the Uckfield bound platform.
The station has two platforms; however, accessibility is limited as the London-bound platform can only be reached via a stepped footbridge. Hever Railway Station provides an hourly off-peak service to London Bridge and Uckfield, with increased services during peak hours and a modified schedule on Sundays. The station is conveniently located about 1.6 kilometres from Hever Castle, making it a practical starting point for visitors heading to the historic site.
