Snowdown Railway Station, located in the hamlet of Snowdown, Kent, is a key stop on the Dover branch of the Chatham Main Line. Managed by Southeastern, this station was originally opened in 1914 as Snowdown & Nonington Halt. It has a historical connection to the National Coal Board, serving the Snowdown Colliery with extensive sidings. Today, Snowdown Railway Station is noted for its minimalistic facilities, being unstaffed with self-service ticket machines and basic shelters on each platform. It does not offer step-free access to the platforms.
The station operates with two platforms and provides services primarily using Class 375 EMUs. The typical off-peak schedule includes one train per hour (tph) to London Victoria via Chatham and one tph to Dover Priory. Additional services to and from London Bridge and London Cannon Street are available during peak hours. Despite its functional role, Snowdown has been recorded as one of the least used stations in Kent in recent years.
