Wateringbury Railway Station, located on the Medway Valley Line in Kent, serves the villages of Wateringbury and Nettlestead. This station, managed by Southeastern, features two platforms and operates with a typical off-peak service of two trains per hour to Strood via Maidstone West and two trains per hour to Paddock Wood, with some services extending to Tonbridge during various times. On Sundays, the service frequency is reduced to hourly in each direction.

The station building, a fine example of Tudor-style architecture, was listed as Grade II in 1985 but has been disused since the ticket office closed in 1989. Despite this, the building remains in reasonable condition. Additionally, the station’s signal box, also Grade II listed as of 2013, continues to control the level crossing. A PERTIS machine for ticket purchasing is available at the entrance to the northbound platform. Wateringbury Railway Station is not only a functional part of local transport but also a point of historical interest due to its architectural significance.
