Little Gate Farm is a dedicated charity focused on creating employment opportunities for adults with learning disabilities and autism. Based in East Sussex, the organisation offers a variety of programs aimed at supporting individuals into paid employment. These include Supported Employment, where they help find paid jobs and provide ongoing support in the workplace; Supported Apprenticeships, which allow individuals to train on the job; and Supported Work Training, offering training in various job roles within a professional environment.
Additionally, Little Gate Farm runs Little Gate Rangers, clubs for children aged 8 to 18 with learning disabilities or autism, providing fun activities in a farm and woodland setting to help them grow in confidence and social skills.
The charity also engages in social enterprise ventures such as venue hire, cut flower production, and woodland products, which not only generate income for the charity but also provide valuable business experience for the trainees. Little Gate Farm is committed to inclusion and diversity, actively working to ensure a respectful and supportive environment for all its trainees.
