My father was born in Northiam in November 1905.
His parents, Robert & Annie MYLES lived at “The Cottage” from 1905 to at least 1915. Is anyone able to give me any information of this place?

Hi Rosemary,
My husband and I run the newsagents in Northiam, have only just found the Northiam message board.
If the name has stayed the same “The Cottage” is very near the centre of the village at the start of Ewhurst Lane. It is one of a pair, its neighbour being called “The Little Cottage”. I am not sure who lives there now but when we came in 1989 an elderly couple David and Kathleen Wise lived there, both have since passed away. I will try and find out if any of the old timers know any more, sadly not many left now.
I have just found your reply, so I am sorry I didn’t reply earlier.
Thank you for any help that you can give me. Could you eamil me direct at: [reveal email]
