I am researching my family history and on the 1861 and 1881 census my ancestors are shown as living at Buxford House, Leacons. I have found a website indicating the existence of Buxford Mill, Buxford Mill House, and Bucksford Manor. Are you able to tell me which of these would have been referred to as Buxford House in l86l, if any, or was this another building. If so, is it still standing. Do you know if there is a book available outlining the history of Great Chart please.
