Sellindge is a village and civil parish located on the A20 road between Ashford and Folkestone in Kent, South East England. It lies within the North Downs West Ward of Folkestone and Hythe District Council and the Elham ward of Kent County Council. The village is set against the backdrop of the Kent North Downs to the north.
Sellindge has found its way into popular culture through author Russell Hoban, who reimagined the village as “Sel Out” in his 1980 post-apocalyptic novel Riddley Walker.
